PHILOBROKER

Card payment integration
and eInvoicing compliance.

Solutions that bridge Payment Service Providers and retailers — enabling seamless card payment integration at the point of sale, and keeping retailers in Saudi Arabia fully compliant with ZATCA eInvoicing regulations.

PHILOBROKER EFT — Merchant Edition

Integrating your POS with any PSP and any terminal — at any time.

PHILOBROKER EFT simplifies the integration of card payment terminals with point-of-sale systems in retail stores. A general-purpose client application communicates with the POS at one end and the EFT payment terminal at the other. With a single integration and a library of plugins, integration happens only once on the POS side — whatever needs for alternative PSPs or terminal devices arise.

Supports one-to-many configurations (one checkout, multiple terminals) and many-to-one setups (multiple checkouts sharing one terminal). Run a mix of terminal device brands and models across your estate, or multiple PSPs simultaneously — all through a single integration layer. Future-proof your payment operations without touching your core POS infrastructure.

POS Independence

Integration happens once on the POS side. Add new terminals, change payment protocols, or switch PSPs without touching your mission-critical POS infrastructure.

Multi-PSP Support

Accept payments from multiple Payment Service Providers concurrently — optimising commercial terms, offering shoppers more payment choice, and reducing transaction failures.

Flexible Configurations

One checkout to multiple terminals, or multiple checkouts sharing one terminal. Mobile sales agents can use the nearest available terminal — no fixed assignment required.

Faster Checkout

Streamlined payment processing reduces checkout time and minimises manual entry errors — improving throughput and the experience for shoppers at the till.

Added Business Value

Adapts to changing business needs — new store formats, new payment protocols, new PSP relationships. Can also hold logic for BIN-based campaigns and promotions.

Plugin Library

A custom-developed and constantly evolving library of terminal and PSP-specific plugins ensures compatibility across the wide range of payment hardware and providers in the market.

PHILOBROKER EFT — PSP Edition

Middleware to make it easy for the next merchant to join your network.

The PSP Edition of PHILOBROKER EFT enables Payment Service Providers to offer seamless POS integration to their retail merchant network — without requiring merchants to change their existing POS systems. A single, reliable integration layer that makes your payment services easier to adopt and deploy across diverse retail environments. Remove barriers and lower merchant acquisition cost and time. Focus on expanding your network of merchants and the core business rather than managing long integration cycles and complex support requirements.

Universal POS Compatibility

Connect your payment services to any modern POS system used by your merchant network — without requiring merchants to change their core infrastructure.

Faster Merchant Onboarding

The plugin library approach means new merchants can be onboarded quickly — reducing the time and cost of integration for both you and your retail partners.

Reduced Integration Risk

Integration happens on the PHILOBROKER layer — not inside the merchant's POS. This protects the stability of mission-critical retail systems while enabling full payment connectivity.

Multi-Terminal Support

Support a wide range of terminal configurations across your merchant base — fixed checkouts, shared terminals, and mobile payment scenarios all handled through a single integration.

Scalable Deployment

Deploy across a single merchant or a nationwide retail network. The architecture scales without adding complexity — the same integration approach works regardless of size.

Ongoing Compatibility

As payment protocols and terminal technologies evolve, the plugin library evolves with them — protecting your investment and keeping your merchant connections current.

PHILOBROKER ZATCA

eInvoicing compliance for retailers in Saudi Arabia.

Saudi Arabia's ZATCA regulations require all B2C point-of-sale transactions to be reported electronically. PHILOBROKER ZATCA transforms the issuance of paper invoices into a fully compliant eInvoicing process — connected to the ZATCA authority in real time, with a QR code on every receipt for consumer verification.

POS and ECR independent. Integrates with any modern point-of-sale system. Available as a SaaS solution on Google Cloud Platform or deployed on-premises for retailers with their own data centre or lower transaction volumes.

Currently running successfully across a diverse portfolio of retailers in KSA — including 3 of the top 10 grocery retailers and 4 of the top 10 fuel retailers in the country.

Local Agent

Installed at store level — on each POS/ECR or a shared store server. Captures transaction data at the source, signs documents, and queues them for submission to the ZATCA authority. Also keeps documents locally and feeds the archiving system.

Central Collector

The cloud-native layer that aggregates submissions across all stores and devices. Manages communication with ZATCA, handles retries, and maintains a complete audit trail.

Admin Portal

A central management interface where admin staff can register and onboard devices, monitor submission status across all locations, and manage compliance centrally.

Flexible Integration

Designed to integrate with any modern POS or ECR system. The Local Agent can reside directly on the POS, on a shared store server, or on a low-cost Linux device — giving full flexibility in how and where it is deployed within the store environment. OS and network independent by design. This approach protects the stability of the POS — particularly important for legacy systems where changes carry significant testing and deployment overhead.

Consumer Verification

Every receipt includes a QR code that shoppers can scan to verify the validity of their invoice — meeting the ZATCA B2C simplified invoice requirements.

Local Archiving & Summary Service

An optional module that can reside either on-premises or on the organisation's cloud of choice — archiving submitted documents to meet this aspect of the regulation. Includes a native user interface for searching and retrieving submitted documents, or viewing a summary of submissions for any given period.
