A truly innovative tailor-made solution was recently designed and implemented for our client Danube Co., a leading hypermarket chain in Saudi Arabia, using the SMASH Digital wallet framework!

The Danube shopping card solution – powered by PHILOSHOPIC cloud platform – is a digital wallet card that consumers can constantly use by loading and shopping –  once the balance is spent they can recharge with money at any point of sale – again and again! The card can be used by individuals, families or businesses, as well as be given as a gift. The solution also enables charity organisations to regularly recharge cards they provide to families in need to shop at Danube. Each card holder can check their balance and past transactions at any time from home, in store or on the move.

There’s basically no need for anyone carrying cash with him at Danube anymore. Shoppers now have the choice of using their Danube cards instead! This makes things a lot easier, simpler and quicker for Danube’s customers who are delighted with this new way of shopping.
