SPAR joins our users family in Cyprus!

We welcome SPAR Cyprus to our CYDGX users family!

International Giant SPAR Supermarkets opened its doors in Cyprus with their first store in Larnaca, and we are very happy to have partnered up with them to offer an innovative and exciting service to their customers!

Materialising on SPAR’s  moto  of “What really matters is that your shopping experience is valuable” we have enabled consumers  to seamlessly purchase airtime top-ups, mobile internet, and  pre-paid money vouchers in a single transaction along with all their groceries at any POS checkout at SPAR – just by requesting it from the cashier!

Through the CYDGX service powered by the PREPAYXL cloud framework, SPAR can avail a wide range of digital products to their customers without any logistics, administration or inventory costs. All fully digitised! Soon, charity donations will also be added through the same innovative channel of service

Following the success of the first opening in Cyprus, SPAR plans to open another 20 stores nationwide over the next 5 years, and we can’t wait to implement more of our digital transformation services and together create more exciting experiences for the consumer!

Earning true customer Loyalty – an exciting journey explained by PHILOSHOPIC!

Joined by an array of both local and international top players in the industry, PHILOSHOPIC’s director and esteemed leader, Demetris Constantinou, captivated the audience with his presentation on “The Geometry of Loyalty” at the very successful Loyalty & Rewards conference held in Nicosia, Cyprus on October 3rd.

The speech focused on the central goal of earning true customer loyalty and on how the business will be perceived as a loyalty achiever by their own customers thus getting spoilt with more purchases, more visits and nicer comments spread to their social circles. Demetris navigated the 150+ professionals using examples from his professional experience, industry best practices and personal emotions interacting with loyalty programs to explore and highlight some of the less obvious angles of shaping a Loyalty program.

He focused on 5 angles such as the emotions while joining a program, the Omni-Channel nature of the modern consumer engagements, the technology as a potential enabler or barrier in adapting to future trends, listening to the loyal customers when deciding on next steps and integrating and rewarding the social media engagements of consumers with the purchase they make leading to a unified exciting experience.

Nearly all the presenters talked about the need to go beyond the traditional earn points/redeem rewards concepts and we are happy that our approach to loyalty is being echoed by further top industry experts! Participants reaction in general was extremely positive (primarily coming from Retail, Brands and Financial Services) and energising! The market seems to embrace our innovative approach through the SMASH portfolio of Loyalty & Consumer Engagement services that enable both digitalising innovative programs but most importantly enables our customers to achieve the goal of earning the true customer loyalty turning things simple & exciting!

PHILOSHOPIC enables new channel for charity donations to ΠΑΣΥΚΑΦ

For the first time ever in Cyprus, charity donations can be digitally executed at kiosks all over the country! The service is launching on October 3rd at the same day ΠΑΣΥΚΑΦ (www.pasykaf.org –  Pancyprian Association of Cancer Patients) is launching their annual street donation collections campaign named “With 2 Euros we keep going – TOGETHER IN LIFE”

Anyone visiting one of the hundreds of kiosks (convenience stores) served by Kronos Corporate Group newly launched DEAZY service can simply donate the amount of choice (2euro, 5 euro, 10 euro or multiples) directly and seamlessly to ΠΑΣΥΚΑΦ all under the same receipt as their other purchases! The consumer will get a charity coupon issued by the system while in real time the beneficiary charity will have visibility of all incoming donations for audit and planning purposes!

The solution is powered by our SMASHeVouchers framework solutio, and offered through Kronos’ new DEAZY service. The concept, design and development have all been executed by PHILOSHOPIC while the deployment, operations and marketing are handled by Kronos Corporate Group.

We are honoured to support this charitable cause and proud for our contribution to the local society and those in need.  The service enables ΠΑΣΥΚΑΦ to extend the channels of donation collections without requiring additional volunteers and admin cost. Further more enables availability of points of cash donation that are easy to reach 365 days a year and in most locations 24/7!
